Just Gilok

 

You know that feeling when you're taking photos with your favourite people, and someone casually drops the line, "just for the memories"? Well, I’m pretty much ‘that one’ of the group. 

 

Gilok (기록) means record or memory in Korean. 

 

A little fun fact about me- I've been penning down diary entries since I was six. Fast forward to today, I've got a whole book shelf of old diaries in all shapes, sizes, and handwriting styles.

 

Flipping through all those pages made me realise that every stage of my life has had its own special "gilok" moment, from pouring my tiny heart out in diaries, sharing my thoughts and recipes through blogs, to capturing moments in vlogs. My six-year-old self might not have realised it back then, but I've always been about cherishing life's little moments, no matter the highs or lows.

 

Now, I'm at a point where I want to share those cherished "giloks" with others through Just Gilok Co. 

 

My vision? To spread joy by sharing precious items and experiences with all of you, because let's face it – life is one beautiful struggle, and it's so much better when we're in it together.

 

As for the duck in the blue beanie? Just think of it as a representation of me in character form :)
